LA Area Legislators Are Hot!?

Well, it may not be the Oscars, but today four Los Angeles Legislators took the honor of being called the most fashionable on The Land of The Fruits and Nuts blog.

Being one of those snarky blogger types, CaliforniaGrown has to take a jab at Freshman legislator Kevin DeLeon, comparing him to Eric Estrada, and he takes a swipe and Lloyd's lack of stuff uptop. Former and current Speakers Willie Brown and Fabian Nunez get away without any deriding comments.

But the longest part of the writeup is saved for Republican Cameron Smyth who gets the full treatment, from the colors he wears, how he pulls it off without being "showy" to the way he dresses outside of the office. Mr. Smyth: meet your new gay stalker.

What odd looking hands you have Lloyd.

This is Awesome! It is my favorite picture of Lloyd!

You've got to see Lloyd in his running shorts. Can someone find that picture?

A few glaring ommissions from this category are Senator Cedillo and Assemblymember Alarcon. One has to wonder what they could have done to be snubbed in such a way. And Padilla... what about Padilla?? The hair, the boyish face... surely he is on some boy's "best of" list!

When I originally wrote the post on my blog, I dropped Cedillo because although he dresses a little better than most of his counterparts, there isn't anything really unique about him to write about. I wrote about Alarcon in my first draft but cut him out because I thought a top 5 list would be long enough and he just didn't make that cut.

As cute as padilla is, he doesn't have anything better than standard fashion sense. A cute doesn't count.

But remember, this is all just meant to be fun!

californiagrown, I have to agree with you. Padilla may be cute, but no one that wears his phone on his belt can make it on a fasion list. I do think there could be some mention about Cameron Smyth's french cuffs...
